1. Overview
We offer a 30-day return window, which begins on the day your tracking link marks the order as delivered. This right of withdrawal applies to all orders placed by consumers within the European Union, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) as implemented in Dutch law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, Book 7).
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you may inform us by sending a clear written statement to hello@marnorasports.com, including your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. A standard withdrawal form is available below. Use of this form is not mandatory.
2. Condition standards
Because our products are designed for skin-contact performance use, all returns are personally inspected at our warehouse in the Netherlands. To be eligible for a full refund, items must meet all of the following standards:
- Unworn — the item must not have been used for its intended purpose (exercise, training, or studio use)
- Unwashed — washing the technical fabric or hardware constitutes use
- Odour-free — any detectable odour, including sweat, perfume, or fabric conditioner, will be treated as evidence of use and will render the item ineligible for a refund
- Clean — free of lint, pet hair, chalk, studio dust, or any residue
- Original packaging — returned with all original components (canvas bag, branded sleeve, original box, as applicable)
Important: due to the skin-contact and performance nature of our products, any sign of use renders an item unsuitable for resale. If a returned item shows clear evidence of use — including but not limited to chalk residue, perspiration, grip wear, fabric deformation, pilling caused by open velcro straps, or any detectable odour — the full value of the item will be deducted and no refund will be issued for that item.
If a value reduction or denial applies, you will be notified by email within 2 business days of our inspection. You may request return of the item to you at your own shipping expense within 5 business days of notification.
3. Product-specific notes
The following conditions apply per product and are non-negotiable:

The Marnora Gloves: Must be returned unworn, unwashed, and in the original canvas bag. Any chalk residue, grip wear, fabric deformation, perspiration, or odour is considered evidence of use. A used glove cannot be resold and will not be refunded.

The Foundation Socks: Must be returned in their original, sealed packaging. Once the sleeve has been opened and the socks placed on a foot — even briefly — the grip pattern and fabric are considered used and the item is not eligible for a refund.

The Studio Bottle: Must be returned unused and in its original box. The bottle must not have been filled, washed, or used in any way. The condition of the bottle, lid, and seal can be assessed visually without filling.

The Everything Bag: Must be returned in original, unused condition, free of stains, marks, or any detectable scent.
4. How to initiate a return
Email hello@marnorasports.com with your order number to start a return. We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Inspection — once your return reaches our warehouse, we perform a physical and scent-based inspection
- Approval — if the item meets our condition standards, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days
- Value reduction or denial — if the item shows signs of use, you will be notified by email; you may request return of the item at your own expense within 5 business days of notification
5. Refund of outbound shipping costs
If you exercise your right of withdrawal within the 30-day window, we will refund the standard outbound shipping costs you paid at checkout. If you selected a non-standard delivery option, only the amount equivalent to our standard rate for your country will be refunded.
Return shipping costs are at your expense. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations are only possible within 1 hour of order placement. Email hello@marnorasports.com within this window. If your cancellation is confirmed, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
7. Defective or non-conforming products
This Refund Policy relates exclusively to your statutory right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht). If you receive a product that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or otherwise does not conform to the contract of sale, your rights under the statutory guarantee (wettelijke garantie / conformiteit) apply separately and are not affected by this policy.
