1. No medical advice

All content provided on the Marnora Sports website, social media channels, and within our product packaging is for informational purposes only. Nothing on our platforms is intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider regarding any medical condition or physical injury. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on our platforms.

2. Not a medical device

Marnora Sports products — including The Marnora Gloves and The Foundation Socks — are high-performance fitness accessories designed to provide intentional stability and tactile feedback during studio exercise. They are not medical devices and have not been assessed or classified as such by any regulatory authority. Our products are not intended to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any medical condition, including chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis, or any other physical injury or deformity.

3. Risk awareness

By purchasing and using Marnora Sports products, you acknowledge that:

  • Physical exercise — including Pilates, Yoga, and Lagree — carries inherent risks of injury.
  • We wish to inform you that physical exercise carries inherent risks, including the risk of muscle strain, joint discomfort, or other physical injury. Our products provide support during Pilates and studio exercise but do not eliminate these risks and are not a substitute for professional instruction or supervision.
  • Our gear provides stability support but is not a substitute for proper technique or professional instruction.

We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the correct use of our products before exercising. If you are new to Pilates or studio-based exercise, we advise you to seek guidance from a certified instructor.

4. Professional consultation

If you have a history of wrist, ankle, or joint discomfort, we strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional or certified fitness instructor before starting a new exercise programme or using performance-support gear.

If you experience sharp pain, numbness, swelling, or unusual discomfort while using Marnora Sports products, stop the activity immediately and consult a medical professional.

5. Materials and allergies

Our products are made from a variety of materials, which may include (depending on the product):

  • Technical performance fabrics (synthetic blends including polyester, nylon, and elastane)
  • Silicone-based grip elements
  • Stainless steel hardware
  • BPA-free plastics (Studio Bottle)

If you have known skin allergies, sensitivities to synthetic materials, latex, silicone, or nickel, or any other material sensitivity, we strongly recommend contacting us at hello@marnorasports.com before placing your order. We will do our best to provide you with detailed material specifications for the relevant product(s).

Detailed material composition is provided on each product page and, where applicable, on the product packaging.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Marnora Athleisure B.V., its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or injuries arising from the use of our products or reliance on information provided on our platforms.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Dutch or EU law.

7. Governing law

This disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dutch courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under EU law.
